ESMC - HR Operations Manager
HR Operations Manager is a role responsible for managing the day-to-day HR operations, implementing company policies, overseeing the recruitment and employee lifecycle processes, monitoring departmental budgets, and ensuring compliance with local regulations. This role is key in driving operational excellence, fostering cross-team collaboration, and maintaining a high standard of HR service delivery.
Compliance and Policies :
# Ensure compliance with internal HR policies, collective agreements, and German employment law.
# Support communication with the Works Council regarding routine topics (under supervision).
# Contribute to HR process improvements and documentation of standard operating procedures (SOPs).
HR systems management and support :
# Oversees the technology infrastructure that supports HR processes covering recruiting, performance management.
# Managing and optimizing HR information system (HRIS) and other Digital HR systems to support HR operations and decision-making.
HR Process management:
# Develop and track management related to key HR metrics (retention, development, DE&I etc.), analyze people and talent related data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement, and provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to support business decision-making.
# Assist in employee lifecycle processes: contract preparation, onboarding, changes, offboarding.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
# Master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., At least 3 years of experience in HR operations or related HR role.
# Demonstrated success in leading and managing HR operations teams.
# English and German: Full Professional Proficiency or Native.
# Mandarin is desirable and nice to have.
Concise, data driven manner.
Proactive approach to identifying and solving HR issues.
# Analytical thinking to identify patterns in complex situations, anticipate risks and make data-driven decisions.
# Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements coupled with resilience to maintain focus on achieving project objectives.
