Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Project Procurement Specialist to join our team.
As a key member of the project team, you will be responsible for managing all procurement activities related to customer projects from technical requirements analysis to contract negotiations. You will closely coordinate with technical teams and manage supplier relationships to ensure seamless project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage procurement activities for project-specific components and materials
* Lead contract negotiations with suppliers to achieve optimal quality, cost, and lead time
* Monitor project needs in the ERP system and align project planning
* Conduct supplier audits and track deliveries and deadlines
* Analyze technical requirements to define sourcing strategies
* Regularly evaluate key suppliers
Requirements:
* Hold a degree in supply chain, engineering, or business
* Have experience in an industrial environment, preferably with automated production systems
* Understand technical specifications and interpret industrial project requirements
* Demonstrate strong negotiation skills, cost analysis, and purchasing strategy capabilities
* Possess analytical, structured, and results-driven mindset
* Proven team-oriented, adaptable, and proactive problem-solving skills
* Proficient in English and either French or German
* Bonus: Fluency in all three languages is an asset
