Focus: Trend Research & Future Customer Needs
Objective:
Drive long-term innovation by identifying and interpreting future societal, technological, and customer trends relevant to the automotive and mobility landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct foresight research on global macro and micro trends influencing future mobility.
2. Identify emerging customer needs and expectations over 5–10+ year horizons.
3. Develop trend maps, scenario models, and strategic opportunity spaces.
4. Collaborate with innovation, strategy, and design teams to shape forward-looking concepts.
5. Present trend insights and foresight analyses for leadership and project teams.
Qualifications:
1. Background in Foresight, Sociology, Design Strategy, or similar.
2. 5+ years in trend research or strategic foresight, ideally within the mobility or tech industry.
3. Strong in synthesizing qualitative signals into strategic narratives.
4. Skilled in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and storytelling.
