Details of the role and how it fits into the team
Our Origination & Advisory (O&A) business provides full range of investment banking products and services for corporates, sovereigns and financial ponsors.
Our offering consists of comprehensive financial advisory and capital raising services in form of debt and equity - including mergers & acquisitions, underpinned by one of the world's largest and most successful debt and equity capital markets platforms.
Deutsche Bank has established franchises in advisory and structuring for capital solutions for its clients globally and across sectors.
Your key responsibilities
1. Origination and structuring of investments by alternative asset managers (AAM) into corporates and other institutions as part of our Corporate Private Solutions (CPS) business
2. Developing solutions for our O&A clients which give them access to financings and address strategic as well as rating agency and accounting objectives
3. Work in an international team and in close cooperation with other teams within Deutsche Bank’s O&A division, in particular the sector and country coverage teams as well as FICC and corporate bank business divisions and other central / strategic functions
4. Working with AAM investors to identify and structure investments
5. Monitoring of developments in public and private markets, regulations, standards and methodologies to evolve structures under the CPS mandate
Your skills and experiences
6. University degree & proven experience in investment banking, ideally debt capital markets
7. Minimum 5 years’ experience in structuring of debt and equity instruments with a regulatory, rating agency, tax or accounting objective
8. Experience in corporate finance and due diligence, as well as transaction execution is a tier 1 investment bank
9. Ideally experience working in a real economy corporate treasury, finance or risk function or with an alternative asset manager
10. Strong team player with a personality that is very comfortable in a very dynamic and fast-changing environment with ever-changing tasks
11. Excellent written and spoken German & English is mandatory
