Role: Account Executive
Location: Berlin
Language: German OR Italian
WFH policy: Full-time in office at first, then hybrid (2-3 days in office)
Industry: Logistics SaaS
Product: Freight management SaaS (land & expand model with a fast-growing user base
Size and functions of the local team: 110 employees, scaling sales team from 3 to 15+ in 2025 under a new VP of Sales
Role description:
* Full-cycle AE position: own deals from first call to close
* Work 80% warm leads (customers already using the platform)
* Target SMB and mid-market freight forwarders across Europe
* Land-and-expand model: you’ll manage accounts for 6 months post-sale
* Average deal size: €5K with potential upsells to €35K
* Sales cycle: 40–80 days
* Supported by strong brand recognition, inbound leads, and pipeline from marketplace activity
Must haves:
* 2+ years of BDR experience or 1+ year as AE in SaaS
* Experience selling with a consultative approach (not transactional)
* Coachable, high-energy, team-oriented personality
* Fluent in one of: German / Italian
Nice to haves:
* Multilingual candidates
* Freight/logistics exposure or experience selling into operational personas
* Passion for building in early-stage environments
Salary range & secondary benefits:
