Your tasks
5. Analysis of overarching system requirements and creation of 3D implementation concepts using modern CAD tools
6. Development of manufacturable design solutions for components and assemblies while adhering to quality, schedule and cost constraints.
7. Design and selection of suitable standard and purchased parts, including assistance with estimating effort and manufacturing costs.
8. Coordination of all technical interfaces with internal departments as well as external customers and suppliers
9. Technical support of the procurement process, management of subcontractors and co-decision-making in supplier selection
10. Technical review of standards-compliant product specifications and execution of product data processing in SAP PLM
11. Planning, management and support of integration activities for the first product, up to and including customer acceptance.
12. Conducting engineering tests during the development phase and providing support in creating external customer documentation.
13. Responsibility for making the units ready for series production, including providing support for testability and the start of series production
14. Supporting the sales and project team in the technical processing of offers
Your profile
15. Completed Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Precision Engineering, Mechatronics or a comparable discipline
16. Initial practical design experience in mechanical or plant engineering as well as sound knowledge of 3D CAD design, ideally with Siemens NX
17. Good user knowledge of SAP-PLM as well as a strong technical understanding of the interfaces between mechanics, optics and electrical engineering.
18. Solid expertise in the fields of design engineering, mechanics and materials science, combined with proficiency in MS Office.
19. Fluent German and good English language skills, both spoken and written, for international cooperation and documentation.
20. Structured, goal-oriented and independent work style as well as strong organizational skills, even under tight deadlines
21. Strong teamwork skills for interdisciplinary collaboration and willingness to travel worldwide.
