This position is based in Germany and we offer an attractive compensation package.Essential Targets and TasksProvide high-level strategic consulting support to the European ManagementDrive critical projects related to business transformation, growth initiatives, and operational excellence BoardAct as a trusted advisor, ensuring alignment with global corporate strategy while addressing regional challengesServe as a bridge between global strategy, regional execution, and local business units, ensuring consistency, transparency, and impactLead complex, cross-functional strategic projects from concept to implementation (e.g., market entry, footprint optimization, cost and margin improvement, restructuring initiatives)Structure ambiguous business problems, define hypotheses, and translate strategy into executable roadmapsConduct in-depth analysis of market trends, competitive landscape, customer requirements (OEMs), and internal performance metricsDevelop fact-based, actionable recommendations and present them to senior leadership and management boardsAct as sparring partner to senior leaders and project sponsors, challenging assumptions and driving decision-makingEnsure disciplined project governance, risk management and progress trackingDeliver measurable and sustainable impact on profitability, efficiency, resilience, and growth targets
QualificationsMaster degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or equivalent preferred5 - 8 years of experience in management consulting (strategy / operations / transformation) or corporate strategy within the automotive industry (Tier 1 or Tier 2); OEM exposure is a plusProven experience in leading complex projects and influencing senior stakeholders without formal authority; advanced proficiency in financial modelling, business cases, and data-driven decision-makingproject leadership experience mandatorybusiness fluent language skills in German and English; additional European languages are a strong advantageExcellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complex analyses into clear management messagesStakeholder management at executive levelHigh level of autonomy, resilience, and ability to perform in a fast-paced, international, and sometimes ambiguous environmentStrategic thinking and strong business acumenStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesStructured problem-solving and hypothesis-driven approachHigh adaptability, resilience, and execution focusWillingness to travel within Europe and occasionally globally
