Are you a motivated student eager to gain hands-on experience in software development and automation? We are looking for a proactive learner to help enhance an automated bug triage bot that improves software issue handling within our speech platform team.
No extensive experience is required — just a strong willingness to learn, experiment, and grow on the job! You’ll have the opportunity to work alongside experienced developers, learn about automation and machine learning, and contribute to a real-world project that impacts software quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Learn and assess our existing bot, identifying areas for improvement based on the latest technical innovations
2. Contribute to the design and development of an automated bug triage and backlog analysis bot
3. Learn how to implement machine learning or rule-based algorithms to classify and group similar bug reports
4. Analyse source code and map issues to specific components or areas of concern
5. Gain insights into software development best practices by working closely with developers, QA, and product managers
6. Help refine the bot’s accuracy and efficiency through hands-on problem-solving

Qualifikationen
12. Currently enrolled in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. (min 4th semester Bachelor)
13. Basic programming knowledge (Python or similar) is a plus, but what matters most is your motivation to learn
14. Eager to explore machine learning for pattern recognition and automation
15. Strong problem-solving mindset, curiosity, and ability to take initiative
16. Motivated and ready to shape the future of #HeyMercedes voice assistant
17. Must be available to work on-site at least once a week. Hybrid working mode
