Your role
We are looking for a Project Lead Manager to join our European Operations team in a newly created, high-impact role.
In this position, you will take responsibility for driving cross-functional projects across the organization. While project priorities are defined by leadership, you will enjoy a high level of autonomy in structuring, managing, and delivering these initiatives from start to finish.
You will work in an international, matrix environment, translating data into clear recommendations and ensuring successful execution through collaboration.
Your Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership
* Lead the full lifecycle of cross-functional projects (e.g., network optimization) from scoping to implementation
* Translate business needs into structured project plans, milestones, and deliverables
* Build robust, data-driven business cases (ROI, cost analysis, payback)
* Manage risks, dependencies, and timelines to ensure successful delivery
* Drive alignment and decision-making across stakeholders in a matrix organization
* Ensure clear governance and reporting toward leadership
* Identify improvement opportunities and support structured problem-solving initiatives
Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Management
* Collaborate with teams across operations, quality, warehouse, lab, and commercial functions
* Influence stakeholders without direct authority and ensure engagement
* Communicate clearly with site leadership and European/global stakeholders
Your Profile
* Degree in Engineering or equivalent technical qualification
* Minimum 3 years of experience in international project management
* Experience in an industrial environment required; supply chain knowledge is a plus
* Familiarity with Lean / Continuous Improvement principles is an advantage
* Fluent in English and German (Italian is a plus)
* Strong analytical skills with a data-driven mindset
* Advanced Excel skills; SAP knowledge is a plus
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
* Structured, proactive, and able to work independently in a matrix organization
