We are looking for a Working Student Market and Portfolio Management CIAM (m/f/d) for our location in Ettlingen.
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for the following tasks:
Market & Business Analysis
· Support market sizing, segmentation, and trend analysis
· Collect, consolidate, and analyze market data (customers, competitors, pricing, volumes, growth rates)
Portfolio & Product Management Support
· Assist in portfolio performance tracking (sales, margins, lifecycle status, market penetration)
· Support product roadmap updates and portfolio reviews
· Help prepare business cases for new products or portfolio changes
· Maintain product-related documentation (value propositions, positioning, use cases)
Reporting & KPI Monitoring
· Prepare dashboards, reports, and presentations for management
· Support tracking of KPIs such as revenue, market share, growth, profitability, and adoption rates
· Analyze deviations vs. plan and support action recommendations
Competitive Intelligence
· Monitor competitor activities (product launches, pricing strategies, partnerships)
· Support creation of competitive benchmarking and SWOT analyzes
· Maintain internal competitive intelligence databases
Data & Process Support
· Support data quality management in CRM, ERP, or portfolio tools
· Automate or improve analysis workflows where possible
· Document processes and support continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
Educational Background:
1. Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s program in Business, Economics, Engineering, Natural Sciences, Materials Science, or a related field
2. A strong interest in chemistry, food analysis, polymers, batteries, energy storage, or advanced materials is a significant plus
