In addition to our daily lunch service, corporate catering is a fast-growing and strategic revenue stream for us. To accelerate this growth, we are looking for a Catering Specialist who will own the catering business end-to-end — from winning new clients to executing outstanding catering experiences
Your mission
As Catering Specialist, you are fully responsible for the entire catering cycle, acting as the main owner of revenue, client experience, and execution. This is a highly operational, entrepreneurial role with strong exposure to sales, marketing, and operations.
You will be both in the field selling and on-site delivering and setting up caterings. If you enjoy variety, responsibility, and being close to customers and operations, this role is for you.
Your Responsibilities:
1. Sales & Business Development
* Proactively acquire new corporate catering clients
o On-site visits to offices and companies
o Cold calls, emails, LinkedIn outreach
o Attending events and networking
* Understand client needs and design tailored catering offers
* Prepare proposals, negotiate terms, and close deals
* Own the full client relationship from first contact to repeat business
2. Marketing Collaboration & Offer Creation
* Work closely with the marketing team to:
o Design and execute catering-specific campaigns
o Create attractive catering offers and promotions
o Develop sales materials, pitch decks, and client-facing content
* Act as the “voice of the customer” for catering-related initiatives
3. Catering Execution & Operations
* Coordinate closely with the operations and kitchen teams to ensure flawless execution
* Actively support catering execution, including:
o Production support when needed
o Packaging and preparation
o Delivery and on-site setup at the client’s location
* Ensure a premium client experience on-site
* Collect feedback after each catering and identify upsell or repeat opportunities
4. Ownership & Continuous Improvement
* Take full ownership of catering performance (revenue, client satisfaction, repeat rate)
* Identify process improvements to scale catering efficiently
* Build long-term relationships with recurring catering clients
Your profile
* Must-haves
o Extremely hands-on mentality — you are not afraid to roll up your sleeves
o High energy, motivation, and ownership mindset
o Strong communication and sales skills
o Comfortable doing both sales and operational execution
o Fluent in English (spoken and written)
* Nice-to-haves
o German language skills (a big plus)
o Experience in catering, hospitality, events, food service, or B2B sales
o Experience working in a fast-growing startup or scale-up
o Valid driver’s license
