Responsibilities
As a Test Automation Engineer for Embedded Systems, you will be part of an multidisiplinary team supporting the development and validation of new vehicle functions. Your tasks include:
Developing and maintaining test automation tools across multiple interfaces
Designing and implementing automated test cases (Robot Framework, Python)
Specifying and executing test cases for display functions
Supporting process definition and tooling for test automation and traceability
Executing automated and manual tests, analyzing results, and reporting defects
Collaborating closely with development teams (e.g., defect resolution, code reviews)
Refining user stories, sprint planning, task decomposition, and estimation
Supporting implementation of specified user stories and features

Mandatory Skills
Python software development
Test automation frameworks (e.g., Robot Framework, Pytest)
Strong understanding of software requirements and test design techniques
Experience with test environment setup
Version control (Git: branching, merging, pull requests)
Clean, maintainable, well-documented coding style
Debugging and troubleshooting expertise
Familiarity with Agile development methods and cross-functional collaboration
