Design Engineer Facility Design experience with CAD software, ideally UG NX 3D, AutoCAD, and databases (PLM-Teamcenter) Ideally, knowledge of maritime regulations such as SOLAS, UVV, SeeBG, BV, and standards, etc. Processing/creating documentation for technical equipment/systems with a small to medium number of components, interfaces, or low complexity in ship interiors. Constructive implementation of proposed solutions in designs and documentation Project planning of such equipment and systems, including technical research Performing design calculations Creating functional sequences Establishing specifications for design, manufacturing, and suppliers Creating test specifications and supporting participation in tests/acceptance procedures Reviewing drawings and parts lists Adherence to general constraints of a costing/planning nature Data entry into complex IT systems (especially CAD, PLM)
