Design Engineer Facility
* Design experience with CAD software, ideally UG NX 3D, AutoCAD, and databases (PLM-Teamcenter)
* Ideally, knowledge of maritime regulations such as SOLAS, UVV, SeeBG, BV, and standards, etc.
* Processing/creating documentation for technical equipment/systems with a small to medium number of components, interfaces, or low complexity in ship interiors.
* Constructive implementation of proposed solutions in designs and documentation
* Project planning of such equipment and systems, including technical research
* Performing design calculations
* Creating functional sequences
* Establishing specifications for design, manufacturing, and suppliers
* Creating test specifications and supporting participation in tests/acceptance procedures
* Reviewing drawings and parts lists
* Adherence to general constraints of a costing/planning nature
* Data entry into complex IT systems (especially CAD, PLM)
