* Your role involves the preparation, characterization, and screening of heterogeneous catalysts.
* Using reaction engineering principles, you evaluate the performance of heterogeneous catalysts in batch and continuous-flow reactors.
* Analytical techniques such as GC, HPLC, and NMR enable you to evaluate experimental results, and you will present scientific findings orally and in writing.
What you contribute
* You are studying chemical engineering, chemistry, process engineering, materials science, or a related degree program.
* Experience in laboratory work, materials synthesis, and reactor operation is advantageous.
* Proficiency with material characterization techniques and tools such as MATLAB, OriginPro, and ChemCAD is advantageous but not mandatory.
* You have strong written and spoken English; knowledge of German is advantageous but not required.
* Last but not least, you excel with a team-oriented and responsible work style, as well as the ability to work independently and scientifically.

For the preparation of the Master’s thesis, no remuneration is paid. We offer comprehensive supervision and support. Additionally, there is the possibility of concluding a contract as a Research Assistant. Remuneration is based on the collective agreement for student assistants.
