Key Responsibilities
* Lead tooling design and development for aerospace components (jigs, fixtures, gauges, molds, dies)
* Act as technical focal/SPOC for German clients and internal stakeholders
* Manage end-to-end tooling lifecycle: concept → design → validation → production support
* Develop and review 3D/2D designs using CAD tools
* Ensure compliance with aerospace standards and quality requirements
* Coordinate with cross-functional teams (design, manufacturing, quality, suppliers)
* Support tool prove-out, installation, and production readiness
* Drive continuous improvement in tooling design for cost, quality, and efficiency
* Handle vendor/supplier interactions and technical discussions
🛠️ Required Skills & Qualifications
* Bachelor’s/Master’s in Mechanical / Aerospace Engineering
* Strong experience in tooling design & development (10–15 years)
Hands-on experience with:
* Tooling for aerospace structures / precision components
* Experience in tool room / manufacturing environment
* Knowledge of GD&T, manufacturing processes, and validation methods
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
