About the position
As a Shipping Clerk (m/f/d), you will ensure that shipments are processed efficiently and on time. You will coordinate shipments, prepare all relevant shipping documents, and work closely with internal teams and external service providers. In addition, you will be responsible for handling all operational stock take activities and maintaining stock records, thereby helping to ensure efficient logistics processes.
Hybrid setup: 4 days in the office, 1 day work from home
Languages: fluent German & English
Responsibilities
Shipping 50%:
* System-based order picking for shipments
* Processing all outgoing goods and preparing and requesting the necessary documents
* Arranging and monitoring outgoing standard or express shipments / special deliveries
* Coordinating with all customer and in-house carriers
* Sending inspection reports to the respective recipients
* Preparation of packing instructions
* Coordination with scheduling regarding shipping matters
* Coordination with the logistics service provider regarding goods movements in SAP
* Support for ensuring the completion of transport tasks in a flexible single-shift system
Stock take work 50%:
* Reviewing and implementing stock take adjustments and scrap postings
* Supporting and preparing annual and quarterly stock takes, contract worker stock takes, and all other stock takes required by corporate
* Further developing internal stock take processes
* Distributing necessary documents for stock takes within the company
Job Requirements
* Completed training as an industrial clerk or warehouse logistics specialist, or several years of experience in a comparable position
* Goal-oriented, structured, and independent work style
* SAP ERP R3 knowledge
* Knowledge of packaging planning
* Quality-conscious
* Strong English skills for communicating with international customers and freight forwarders
* Forklift certification (preferred)
* Knowledge of product labeling
* Knowledge of shipping processes for automotive customers
