For the Digital School & Helpdesk department, we are looking for a full-time (part-time possible) permanent position: System Administrator, Digital School These are the tasks: Setting up and designing the system architecture and network architecture, installing and configuring the Proxmox PVE, Proxmox BackUp Server, Ansible, AWX, Git, and Docker systems; Kubernetes, Helm, and Terraform are also desirable. Administration and ensuring ongoing operation through independent rollout according to principle tests, staging, and production, as well as writing playbooks and other automations, independent monitoring, and comprehensive alerting across all systems. Independent planning and comprehensive monitoring of updates, security settings, and backups of all relevant systems/applications. Performing tests, error analyses, troubleshooting, monitoring, and troubleshooting system-related error causes. What we are looking for: Successfully completed degree in computer science or IT & engineering (bachelor's) or equivalent skills and knowledge. Experience in container solutions, cluster management, Linux—especially CentOS/RedHat and Ubuntu/Debian—as well as scripting skills (e.g., Python and/or Bash), DevOps techniques. Independent, deadline- and goal-oriented approach to work combined with team and customer orientation. Analytical understanding and reliability. Written and spoken German at C1 level, written and spoken English at B2 level.
