For our headquarter in Kleve we are searching for a Finance Director (m/f/d):
As Finance Director for SPECTRO you'll report directly to the Divsional Vice President/BU Controller. You’ll work closely with different internal partners to drive performance, ensure financial integrity, and support strategic growth. This is a high-impact role where your expertise will shape decisions and deliver results.
Your duties and responsibilities:
1. Manage the accounting team (6-7 employees)
2. Prepare and submit the monthly US GAAP financials in HFM system
3. Lead the entity's SOX quarterly requirements, such as account reconciliations and other key controls
4. Ensure conformity with US-GAAP, local statutory requirements, Sarbanes-Oxley and Corporate policies
5. Drive the organization to achieve short- and long-term business objectives
6. Develop talent in the finance organization and ensure succession planning
7. Prepare annual budget and monthly operational expenses forecasts
8. Prepare ad hoc requests for Corporate
9. Ensures timely, accuracy and integrity of financial data
10. Responsible for annual statutory audit with external auditors
What we're looking for:
11. Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance. MBA / CPA a plus.
12. Minimum ten years accounting or finance experience, including supervisory experience in a manufacturing or public accounting firm
13. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in German and English language
14. Experience with German HGB and US GAAP
15. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate cross functionally
16. Proficient in Microsoft Office
