Vos missions principales
Job purpose
The Procurement Manager Germany has the responsibility and accountability to lead and execute procurement activities in Germany, to meet production scheduling, barley quality and quantity, financial KPIs for raw material purchasing.
Relations with suppliers & other interlocutors
1. Purchasing of raw material, considering quality, cost, plant requirements and storage capacities
2. Negociation
3. Coordinate the relationships and initiate the right collaboration with suppliers and with the grain commerce network
4. Monitor supplier performance to assess ability to meet quality and delivery requirements. Develop or implement procedures or systems to evaluate or select suppliers
5. Animate the varietal development with local farmers
Relations with S&OP and plants
6. Manage activities related to strategic or tactical purchasing, raw material requirements planning, inventory control, warehousing, or receiving
7. Review or update supply chain practices in accordance with new or changing environmental policies, standards, regulations
Follow up of positions / reporting
8. Reporting financial and physical position
9. Develop and timely prepare procurement budgets, reports, forecasts
10. Control of execution
11. Establish financial exposure
12. Coordinate the relationships with the middle office
Analize the german market
13. Provide required information concerning Grain market in Germany.
14. Identify key factors of the market
15. Implement and direct both short and long-term barley procurement programs to ensure a sustainable supply at market competitive prices meeting customer and company quality and varietal requirements
16. Follow up of prices
17. Comparing offers and needs
18. Basis understanding of Trading (OTC and future market)
19. Participate to weekly meeting of the group procurement team
Votre profil
Qualifications required :
20. Education in agronomy, business administration, purchasing with a relevant experience in a similar or related industry and not less than 3 years' experience in grain purchasing in Germany.
21. Fluent in English and German.
22. Ability to present information and respond to inquiries from/to management.
