Remote in Germany, with some customer-site travel (15%), German & English speaking Position.


Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced HR Technology Manager with a strong background in HRIS platforms such as SAP SuccessFactors and / or Workday to join our global consulting team. This role focuses on advising and delivering HR transformation initiatives for multinational clients, leveraging AI, automation, and HR process optimization to reduce costs, enhance efficiency, and improve the employee experience.

As a manager, you will lead client engagements, design HR technology architectures, and guide customers through HRIS implementations, integrations, and intelligent automation initiatives. You will act as a trusted advisor to senior HR and IT stakeholders while mentoring consultants and contributing to thought leadership in HR technology innovation.


Key Responsibilities


Client Consulting & Advisory:

* Lead HR technology and digital HR transformation projects for global clients
* Advise clients on HR process optimisation, automation opportunities, and HR operating model improvements
* Translate business and HR strategy into HRIS-centric solution designs
* Act as a trusted advisor to HR, IT, and business leadership on AI-enabled HR solutions


HRIS Implementation & Integration:

* Lead or oversee end-to-end HRIS implementations (SuccessFactors, Workday, or comparable platforms)
* Manage integrations between HR systems (e.g., payroll, finance, learning, talent, identity management) (do not need technical integrations knowledge, just basic knowledge)
* Support global rollouts, system harmonisation, and post-go-live optimization
* Ensure data quality, security, compliance, and scalability of HR systems


AI, Automation & Innovation:

* Identify and implement AI and automation use cases across HR processes (e.g., recruiting, onboarding, employee services, reporting, workforce analytics)
* Integrate HRIS platforms with automation tools, chatbots, workflow engines, and AI services
* Drive cost reduction and efficiency gains through intelligent automation and standardisation
* Stay current on emerging HR technology trends and translate them into practical client solutions


Experience & Background:

* 7+ years of experience in HR technology, HRIS consulting, or HR digital transformation
* Strong hands‑on experience with SAP SuccessFactors and / or Workday (functional and / or solution architecture level)
* Proven experience in consulting environments, preferably with global or enterprise clients
* Experience leading manager‑level responsibilities, including team leadership and client ownership


Technical & Functional Skills:

* Deep understanding of core HR processes (Core HR, Talent, Learning, Recruiting, Compensation, Employee Services)
* Practical exposure to AI, automation, RPA, chatbots, workflow tools, or analytics in an HR context
* Strong ability to translate business requirements into technology‑enabled solutions


Nice to Have:

* Certifications in SuccessFactors, Workday, or automation platforms
* Experience with process mining, employee experience platforms, or workforce analytics
* Knowledge of German and EU labor, data protection, and HR compliance considerations
* Experience in cost‑reduction or shared services HR transformations
