General Ledger Accountant (all genders)
Your future tasks:
* Timely preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB and IFRS
* Independent management and reconciliation of general ledger accounts
* Analysis and commentary on balance sheet and income statement items
* Clarification of issues, including in the area of intercompany transactions, and preparation of appropriate documentation for internal and external purposes
* Support in preparatory measures for the preparation of the consolidated financial statements
* Coordination of relevant reporting issues with controlling colleagues
* Participation in the optimisation of processes and the continuous improvement of the internal control system
* Technical support and guidance for younger colleagues in the accounting team
* Contact person for auditors, tax advisors and internal departments
Your profile:
* Completed degree in business administration or commercial training with relevant further education
* Ideally, successfully passed accounting exam, but not a must
* Approximately 10 years of professional experience in finance or accounting, preferably in an international environment, ideally with experience in the wind industry or with construction projects
* Confidence in closing accounts in accordance with HGB and IFRS and solid basic knowledge of taxation
* Very good SAP knowledge at user level, preferably in S/4HANA
* Analytical thinking, structured working style and a high sense of responsibility
* Enjoy working in a dynamic environment and sharing your knowledge with the team
* Good English skills
