Service and Event Coordinator
The Service and Event Coordinator is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of our hospitality department. This includes coordinating events, managing administrative tasks, and providing exceptional service to our guests.
Your Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate event logistics, including room bookings and venue reservations.
* Provide administrative support to the hospitality team, ensuring smooth organisation of internal and external events.
* Respond to enquiries regarding meetings and events.
* Assist with daily administrative tasks, such as preparing statistics on food and beverage consumption and compiling reports on F&B expenses and events.
* Monitor staff leave and absences.
* Reinforce the reception team during peak periods.
* Welcome visitors, handle phone calls, and ensure smooth reception services.
Your Ideal Profile:
* A secondary school diploma or equivalent is required.
* 1-5 years experience in a similar position is preferred.
* Experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in hotels, catering/banqueting, or in-house positions, is essential.
* Fluency in English and French is required, with additional languages a plus.
* You should be comfortable working in a dynamic environment and able to adapt with flexibility, discretion, and professionalism.
* A good understanding of hospitality standards and practices is necessary.
* A polished appearance and strong customer service mindset are essential.
* Ability to work independently and make sound decisions is required.
