Why VMRay Join our small, experienced team as a Site Reliability Engineer (M/F/D) and help shape the backbone of our SaaS platform. We work on equal footing, managing and evolving both our product and development infrastructure. You’ll collaborate closely with our software engineers, driving reliability, automation, and performance across all stages of development. Your Responsibilities Oversee cloud application architecture, help identify design flaws, and advise developers in feature development Improve and further automate our operational processes Maintain our SaaS platform and development infrastructure Improve monitoring and logging infrastructure regarding availability, reliability, performance and security Implement documentation, processes and tooling for cloud incident handling Remediate service disruptions and identify root causes in close collaboration with developers Provide technical guidance to non-technical teams Our Requirements A passion for observability, reliability and performance Strong hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and managing scaled cloud systems with a focus on automation Profound knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform and Ansible Software development experience in Python Knowledge about DevOps and SRE best-practices Strong communication abilities and willingness to share knowledge with the rest of the engineering team Good knowledge of software design principles, networking and security practices Good verbal and written communication abilities in English Location Bochum, Germany or Remote (Europe) About us Would you like to work in a technology-driven scale up, where you can make an actual impact?
