The SAP Finance Governance & S4E Rollout Lead is accountable for SAP Finance access governance, workflow controls, and delegation management, while acting as the Business Area Expert for Finance within the S4E (S/4HANA) rollout programme.
The role ensures secure, compliant, and business‑ready Finance operations, supporting both business‑as‑usual (BAU) activities and S4E transformation delivery.
Key Responsibilities
1. SAP Finance Governance & Access
2. Act as Finance Role Owner for SAP and approve/reject role requests in Secure Pro (Live & Test)
3. Perform annual SAP Finance access recertification
4. Unlock SAP accounts and advise users on appropriate Finance roles
5. Raise and manage SAP incidents and Project Change Requests (PCRs)
6. Delegation of Authority & Controls
7. Maintain DLA Matrix and perform monthly updates for starters, leavers, and changes
8. Maintain Cost Centre Levels of Authority (LOA)
9. Ensure audit traceability through documented change logs
10. Support GBS and Quality teams with approval and publication processes
11. Workflow & RIC Controls
12. Maintain SAP workflow approvers (WUM1)
13. Perform quarterly workflow reviews against DLA (RIC control)
14. Maintain cost centre auto‑approval table /CEDAS/WFA_WC02
15. Ariba Governance
16. Act as Ariba Governance Approver
17. Approve and manage user access changes
18. Ensure Ariba approval thresholds align with DLA
19. S4E Rollout Lead / Business Area Expert
20. Act as Business Area Expert for Finance capabilities across S4E rollout waves
21. Support rollout planning with Wave Business Leads
22. Lead Finance requirements identification and design validation
23. Drive alignment to S4E global template and approved variants
24. Identify gaps, data impacts, and integration dependencies
25. Support data migration scoping and end‑to‑end testing readiness
26. Represent Finance in Fit‑to‑S4E workshops and rollout forums
What you bring
27. Strong SAP Finance governance and access control experience
28. Experience supporting SAP S/4HANA rollouts or transformations
29. Solid understanding of DLA, LOA, workflow, and audit controls
30. High attention to detail with strong compliance mindset
31. Effective stakeholder management across Finance, IT, and GBS
32. Ability to balance BAU delivery alongside transformation activity
