System Design Engineer - Gas Turbines

This role involves designing and maintaining system-level models for gas turbines, integrating thermodynamic, mechanical, and control subsystems. You will create and deploy software tools for performance prediction, transient analysis, and operability assessment.
The ideal candidate has a Master's degree or equivalent experience in mechanical engineering or aerospace engineering, with expertise in component integration and large turbine fundamentals. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Fortran, Bash, C, and C++ is required, along with knowledge of system modeling tools and thermodynamic cycle analysis.
* Design and develop system-level models for gas turbines, integrating multiple disciplines.
* Create software tools for performance prediction, transient analysis, and operability assessment.
* Implement automation scripts and multidisciplinary optimization frameworks to support design trade studies.
* Apply AI/ML, digital twin technologies, and data analytics to enhance decision-making and predictive capabilities.
* Collaborate with component teams to ensure accurate system integration and requirements alignment.
