Job Description

Role:
Purchasing & Supply Chain Execution Leadership
• Lead and develop the Purchasing and Supply Execution team, ensuring strong operational performance.
• Safeguard material availability, delivery reliability and cost efficiency while maintaining optimised stock levels.
• Oversee order management, expediting activities and supplier operational performance.
• Manage escalations related to delivery delays, shortages or quality concerns.
• Ensure strict adherence to procurement processes, internal policies and compliance requirements.
Operational Supplier Risk Management
• Own and execute day‑to‑day Supplier Risk Management activities.
• Identify, assess and monitor short‑ and mid‑term supplier risks, including capacity, financial stability, quality, logistics and geopolitical exposure.
• Drive mitigation actions in collaboration with suppliers and internal teams.
• Support Business Continuity Planning at an operational level.
• Provide structured risk insights to Planning, Quality, Operations and leadership teams.
Control Center Coordination
• Serve as the primary Supply Chain Execution interface to the central control centre.
• Coordinate supply‑related topics such as shortages, OTIF deviations and escalations
.• Enable fast decision‑making and alignment across Purchasing, Planning, Logistics and Operations.
• Contribute to the development and stabilisation of control‑centre processes, KPIs and routines.
• Support the shift from reactive issue‑management to proactive risk and performance management.
Cross‑Functional & Stakeholder Management
• Act as a key interface to Supply Chain Planning, Manufacturing, Operations, Quality, Compliance, Logistics/3PL, Finance and Controlling.
• Drive cross‑functional problem‑solving during critical supply situations and ensure alignment across all stakeholders.
Continuous Improvement & Supply Chain Excellence
• Identify and implement improvements in supply execution and purchasing processes.
• Promote standardisation, transparency and KPI‑driven performance management.
• Support transformation initiatives, including digitalisation, tooling enhancements and system improvements.
• Contribute to building a robust, resilient and scalable supply chain organisation.
