DescriptionThe opportunityThe Supply Sustainability and Compliance Senior Analyst will play a key role in supporting our organization’s sustainability and regulatory compliance efforts, particularly focusing on emissions understanding and reductions for Scope 3, sustainable assessments, and adherence to emerging regulations in the area of supply chain. The Senior Analyst will support establishing efficient data collection and reporting processes and drive continuous improvements initiatives.How you’ll make an impactSupporting the establishment of new or improvement of existing processes for ESG regulatory and compliance topics (including SOPs and work instructions for maximum efficiency)Coordinating timely implementation of SCM Sustainability and Compliance processes in the respective regionsSupporting strategic supplier relationships and drive collaborative engagementCoordinating supplier sustainability assessment/improvement program enabled by EcoVadisStructuring and organize the information related to the Sustainability activities and ensure the reporting mechanisms for each related KPIEnsuring data accuracy and accessibility for related topics (including collaboration with other functions for required alignment)Supporting global application implementation and align supplier sustainability related toolsSupporting in establishing required communication & training materialYour backgroundMinimum 5 years of relevant business experienceAbility to collaborate across functions and engage with external parties on sustainability initiativesStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with a passion for continuous improvementExperience with data analytics and reporting tools is highly desirableUnderstanding of supplier sustainability requirements such labour & human rights, sustainable procurement, environmental, safety and ethics is preferred.Understanding of relevant industry regulations and compliance requirements is preferredKnowledge of SAP Ariba, S/4Hana, EcoVadis is a plusCultural sensitivity and work experience in an international environmentFluent in English and strong communication/presentation skillsDegree in Chemistry, Materials Science or related is a plusQualified individuals with a disability may request a reasonable accommodation if you are unable or limited in your ability to use or access the Hitachi Energy career site as a result of your disability.
