HR Specialist – Employee Relations & Compliance

What you’ll achieve
As a Human Resources Specialist you support the implementation and administration of Human Resources programs, practices, and procedures across the organization. You provide guidance to team members and leaders on HR-related matters, ensuring consistent application of policies and procedures. You collaborate with the Workers' Council on routine matters and supports compliance with relevant labor laws and agreements.
You will:
1. Administer HR programs and digital tools, including those requiring Workers' Council consultation, under guidance from Senior HR staff.
2. Collect and analyze HR data to identify trends and support improvements, escalating complex issues to Senior Advisors.
3. Apply knowledge of employment law and Workers' Council agreements to ensure compliance in day-to-day HR operations.
4. Provide guidance to team members and managers on HR policies, procedures, and Workers' Council processes.
5. Support resolution of employee relations issues, escalating sensitive or complex cases to Senior HR or Legal Partners.
6. Communicate HR policies and programs clearly to employees, ensuring understanding and alignment with Workers' Council agreements.

Essential Requirements
7. 3+ years of professional HR experience with a Bachelor’s degree or an advanced degree
8. Solid knowledge of HR practices, labor law and compliance
9. Experience in employee relations and HR operations
10. Strong communication and problem solving skills to explain HR concepts and procedures.
11. Ability to work accurately with attention to details, independently and to prioritize tasks
12. Confident in using digital HR tools and MS office
13. Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
