Job Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced system administrator to join our engineering team. As the global market leader in industrial exhaust air purification technology, we contribute to reducing emissions in various industries through innovative solutions.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting and maintaining engineering applications such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD and EPLAN, Cideon Conversion Engine.
* Ensure stable and efficient operation including license management
* Integration of the engineering tools into the SAP PLM platform using SAP ECTR (Engineering Control Center)
* Technical support for users and implementation of system configurations and software updates
* Planning and implementation of upgrades, patches and migrations
* Collaboration with engineering and IT teams to optimize workflows and data exchange
* Monitoring system performance and compliance with security and IT standards
* Documenting system configurations and processes and carrying out user training
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you should have:
* Completed studies or training in a relevant field such as informatics or IT
* Several years of experience as a system administrator or IT support specialist in CAD/CAM or engineering applications
* Solid knowledge of SolidWorks, AutoCAD, EPLAN and ECTR or comparable PLM/PDM systems
* Experience with software licensing, network configurations and integration processes
* Ability to analyze errors and optimize performance
* Good understanding of IT security, data management and backup strategies
* Confident handling of Microsoft 365
* Strong communication skills, proactive way of working and team orientation
* Good written and spoken English skills
