We’re hiring a Comms & Protocols Engineer to architect and deploy advanced communications stacks for distributed counter-UAS systems. Your work will span SDR, mesh networking, NATO-compliant interfaces, and redundant fallback systems - all optimized for real-world tactical performance.
This is a hands-on systems role, blending RF, embedded protocols, and autonomy integration. Develop secure and redundant communications protocols for CUAS and autonomous UAV networks
Program SDRs using GNU Radio, USRP/Ettus platforms, and custom FPGA pipelines
Validate entire stack in HIL setups and field trials with autonomous air vehicles
4–8+ years in embedded comms, SDR, or RF engineering
~ Experience programming SDR platforms (GNU Radio, USRP, LimeSDR, etc.)
~ Proficiency in C/C++ and/or Python for embedded protocol development
~ Comfortable working across hardware and software boundaries
