Overview Hatch Blue is an investment firm that specialises in sustainable aquaculture and alternative seafood globally. We invest in companies transforming how the world produces seafood—from sustainable farming technologies to supply chain innovation—and we embed ourselves in the sector through consulting and venture programs that generate market intelligence and deal flow. The job As our first marketing lead, you’ll help us build Hatch Blue into the leading investment firm specializing in aquaculture. You’ll own the full marketing machine, from positioning and brand to fundraising materials, content, events, and PR, to make sure institutional investors, founders, and the broader aquaculture ecosystem know what we\'re building, how we\'re different, and why it matters for them. Responsibilities Fundraising materials and events for investment team Sales enablement: decks, pitch support, lead gen for consulting and programs Website PR and comms Events Creative About you You have 10-15 years of marketing experience You’ve led marketing teams, but still roll up your sleeves and get stuff done You can navigate competing priorities and stakeholder needs You have experience with fundraising, investment firms, or financial institutions You understand the LP and institutional investor mindset and speak their language You’re an exceptional writer and storyteller who can articulate complex positioning You have professional polish but you’re also creative, curious, and carry the company culture You’ve worked with creative agencies, vendors, and other freelancers You care about the climate and ocean health (experience in the space is nice to have but not required) What success looks like LPs, founders, and aquaculture ecosystem know who we are and why we’re worth working with Interest from institutional investors Portfolio success stories effectively showcased Fundraising materials land with institutional investors A clear, compelling company narrative and brand reputation Inbound leads for consulting and programs Job info and how to apply: Location: Berlin office (hybrid setup); Start Date: ASAP Email: naheda@hatch.blue with your CV and a brief description of why you are a match for the role We encourage applications from candidates who don’t meet all requirements.
