Why this role is important

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a strong, empathetic leader to head up our creative team of around 20 people in the areas of brand, creative direction, graphic, photo, video, and content production, corporate UX/UI design, corporate website, and campaigns. In this role, you will report to the Head of Corporate Communications and ensure that we create effective campaigns, marketing materials and website experiences for global use.


Your mission

* Lead and develop the team: Establish clear roles, responsibilities, coaching routines and goals for our team of around 20 people to increase brand consistency, effectiveness, quality and speed
* Build an in-house creative agency: Implement effective processes and tools and manage our resources and projects
* Orchestrate global media creation: Manage the end-to-end creation of copy/content, graphics, photos and videos for digital and print – including the prioritization of requests
* Create global campaigns: Manage effective, global omnichannel campaigns and thus empower our subsidiaries
* Manage photo and video studios: Ensure the operation and further development of our internal studios in Tuttlingen
* Establish a corporate UX/UI design system: Develop a company-wide UX/UI design system and anchor its application across all digital touchpoints
* Further develop the corporate website: Take charge of the strategy and channel management of the corporate website and measurably improve content, user experience, performance and accessibility
* Strengthen brand awareness: Develop and implement a clear brand strategy and ensure brand consistency across assets, channels and regions
* Anchor reporting & analytics: Establish meaningful KPIs as an integral part of content and channel management and derive data-based optimizations
* Ensure budget, processes and quality: Take responsibility for budget and processes, and continuously optimize internal workflows and tools
* Manage agencies: Identify suitable partners and manage external agencies in a targeted manner


Your talents

* Degree in marketing, marketing communication, media, communication sciences or business administration with a relevant specialization or a comparable qualification
* Strategic understanding of current trends in branding, corporate design, marketing communication, copywriting and websites
* At least 8 years of relevant professional experience – including at least 5 years in a leadership role, ideally in an agency and B2B corporate environment
* Proficient in staffing resources for the ideal management of internal and external capacities
* Ability to develop strategies and translate them into first-class concepts and effective output
* Strong sense of high-quality design, sophisticated copy, digital trends and effective working methods
* Intercultural sensitivity and excellent communication skills for leading the team and building networks in an international company
* Confident use of Microsoft Office and knowledge of Figma, Adobe Creative Suite and DAM systems such as Censhare is an advantage
* Analytical, project and time management skills
* Omnichannel and digital first mindset with a passion for people and innovation
* Excellent written and spoken German and English skills
