Accounting and IT Specialist
As a key member of our finance team, you will play a vital role in managing the interface with our IT department. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure seamless communication and collaboration between both teams.
The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to think critically. You should also possess strong problem-solving skills, as well as effective communication and interpersonal skills.
In this dynamic and challenging role, you will be working closely with our finance demand process team to streamline and improve processes for various group companies worldwide.
Key Responsibilities:
* Interface with the IT department to define accounting-specific requirements.
* Contact person for interfaces to other SAP and non-SAP systems.
* Contact person to stakeholders in group companies (Germany, Sweden, US).
* SAP Key User Function for FI/CO.
* Support improvements of SAP S/4HANA Finance.
* Development and documentation of existing processes and systems.
* Supervision of subject-specific special topics and projects.
* Implementation/processing of requirements regarding control actions.
* Maintenance of central Chart of Accounts and reporting tools to Volkswagen AG.
* Participation in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Requirements
Qualifications:
* Degree in Economics or successfully completed commercial training with corresponding further training as an Accountant.
* Several years of professional experience in Finance and Accounting.
* Knowledge of Accounting according to IFRS and HGB.
* Very good knowledge of SAP S/4HANA FI/CO.
* High affinity for IT and ability to keep pace with technological advances.
* High level of entrepreneurial thinking and acting as well as problem-solving skills.
* Independent way of working, communication skills, and reliability.
* Fluency in German and English both written and verbal.
