About the Role
We are seeking an experienced technical professional to lead our high-voltage direct current (HVDC) solution efforts. As a HVDC Solution Architect, you will be responsible for developing and coordinating technical solutions with national and international technical resources across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
* Work closely with customers to understand their requirements and align them with our solution portfolio through pre-acquisition and acquisition phases.
* Lead the development of technical solutions, ensuring a holistic techno-commercial approach that minimizes risk and ensures quality.
* Identify market trends and research and development requirements to inform our solution strategy.
* Engage actively in international committees and standards organizations.
About You
* You have a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent technical field.
* Extensive experience in engineering, preferably in HVDC or Flexible AC Transmission Systems (FACTS) technology.
* Strong project management and contract management skills, as well as experience in leading international technical standardization.
* Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work in multicultural environments and provide value-added inputs.
* Proficient in negotiations, interface management, teamwork, and leadership abilities.
* Fluent in English, with knowledge of German preferred.
