Area of responsibility
The "Computer-Assisted Audits" department is part of the Pension Insurance Data Center (DSRV) and supports the operational and collection agency audit service for the entire German pension insurance system. The "Audit of Direct Contributors" (PuB) team is responsible for creating the software needed to carry out audits. The team's tasks include maintaining a master file, which is used as a basis for raising objections and, if necessary, making recalculations.
Your tasks
* Supporting the coordination, development, and introduction of complex IT procedures on different software platforms, as well as their maintenance and further development (this also includes creating the corresponding rough IT concepts)
* Managing the porting of programs to a different software and hardware platform
* Performing software tests and evaluating and assessing test results
* Participating in technical requirements analyses
* Supporting departmental tasks from an IT perspective
Your profile
* Successfully completed university education (bachelor's degree, diploma) in the IT field or an equivalent qualification (e.g., IT-specific qualification) or completed vocational training in the IT field or comparable long-term practical experience in the IT field
* Several years of professional experience in application development
* Comprehensive knowledge of developing complex applications based on Java EE
* Extensive knowledge of agile testing methods, techniques, and tools, as well as routine use of test automation tools
* Confident use of DB2 and Oracle databases
* Experience with Java Batch according to the JSR 352 standard and initial experience with PostgreSQL are desirable
* Ideally, knowledge of version management software and software systems for integrating application components (GIT, UCD)
* Knowledge of social security and its organizational processes is desirable
