Job Description We are on the lookout for a Director of Product Design to lead the Rider Product Design team in Logistics on our journey to always deliver amazing experiences. At Delivery Hero, design is more than aesthetics—it’s about solving meaningful problems with empathy, simplicity, and impact. Our Logistics Rider Product Line owns the full end-to-end experience for our riders: from mobile apps (iOS & Android) to internal tools and dashboards that serve riders, fleet managers, and operations teams across the globe. In this team, we’re tackling some of the most exciting challenges in last-mile delivery—making it efficient, sustainable, and scalable across groceries, restaurants, and retail. Our work helps real people: the riders on the road, the customers waiting for their orders, and the merchants growing their businesses. This is a high-impact, high-visibility leadership role where you will shape the rider experience at a global scale. You’ll report to the VP of Product and work closely with product, engineering, and operations leadership. You will directly lead 4 design managers and 1 principal designer, overseeing a multidisciplinary team of 20 designers, including UX researchers and writers. You’ll balance strategic leadership, team development, and hands-on design excellence to ensure our rider-facing products are intuitive, delightful, and impactful. What You’ll Do Lead & Grow a world-class team of product design managers, researchers, writers, and product designers. Drive design strategy and product vision across multiple rider-facing platforms in partnership with cross-functional leadership. Champion user-centered design, ensuring riders' voices are represented in every product decision. Guide design execution across discovery, prototyping, validation, and delivery—ensuring consistent quality, usability, and visual polish. Collaborate with senior stakeholders across Logistics and global teams to ensure alignment, clarity, and momentum. Build and evolve design culture through feedback loops, craft development, and continuous learning. Own and drive Product KPIs and OKRs, ensuring alignment with product and business goals. Inspire innovation and push boundaries—advocating for simplicity, accessibility, and long-term value.
