What to Expect
Serve as a crew leader or driver/operator in emergency response operations and regularly work as a dispatcher in our fire alarm and emergency call center. Additionally, you will provide services and support in workshops, shop floors, and other support units.
What You'll Do
* Serve as a firefighter in the emergency response team of the plant fire department
* Work as a dispatcher in our fire alarm and emergency call center
* Provide first aid and medical assistance to employees and contractors
* Ensure the operational readiness of our emergency vehicles and equipment
* Independently perform duties in our workshops (e.g., fire extinguisher maintenance workshop, etc.)
* Train employees, for example, as fire safety and evacuation assistants
* Inspect fire protection systems such as sprinklers, hydrants, fire doors, etc.
What You'll Bring
* Qualification in accordance with the regulation on training and examination for the state of Brandenburg
* Full respiratory protection suitability according to G 26.3 and FwDV 7
* Class B driver's license required, Class C preferred
* Basic English skills required (B1 level)
* Group leader (F III) certification according to FwDV 2 is desirable
* Ideally, you have completed emergency medical training as a paramedic
* Additional certifications and qualifications are a plus, such as respiratory protection equipment maintenance, equipment maintenance, district instructor, sprinkler and fire extinguisher inspection authorization, etc.
