We are supporting a leading international brand within the smart technology sector in the search for a Business Development Manager to drive growth across their European dealer network.
This is a field-based commercial role focused on developing and expanding sales through distributors and specialist dealer partners. The position combines account management, new partner acquisition, and hands-on commercial execution.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and grow an existing portfolio of distributors and dealer partners
* Identify and onboard new partners to expand market coverage
* Drive sell-in and sell-out through structured action plans
* Deliver product training and support local marketing initiatives
* Negotiate commercial agreements within company guidelines
* Monitor sales performance, stock levels, and profitability
* Gather market and competitor intelligence
The ideal profile:
* 3-7+ years' experience in dealer/distributor-based sales
* Background in technical products (e.g. outdoor equipment, machinery, tools, consumer durables, or similar)
* Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills
* Comfortable working independently in a field-based environment
* Commercially driven with a structured approach
