Global Lead Buyer Wind Europe (m/f/d)
As part of the Global Lead Buyer Wind Turbine team, you will lead the tender process for the supply and services agreements of key equipment in our projects with a strong focus on the German market.
Implement the procurement strategy, framework agreements, and procurement processes for delivery projects and long‑term service agreements
Prepare selection proposals with Business and Project Development and ensure approval in line with governance requirements
Support Operations in managing long‑term service agreements and maintaining strong relationships with wind turbine equipment suppliers
Confirm qualified wind turbine vendors for inclusion in EPC tenders and contracts
Conduct EPC bid comparisons and supplier risk analyses to support preferred bidder selection
Lead RFQ (request for quotation) processes for wind turbine equipment—including coordination of experts, negotiations, and alignment with RFQ schedules—and contribute to market intelligence and supplier performance reporting for the Category Manager
A degree in business, economics, engineering or other relevant fields
~5 to 10 years of relevant procurement experience, and/or in project management, business development, sales or contract management
~ Process oriented with strong organization skills to manage multiple projects and prioritize demands
~ Proven high negotiation capabilities and communication impact with the ability to work in an international environment
~ Fluent English and German skills (C1 or higher)
