FOR THE BROADCAST AND NETWORK DEPARTMENT IN BERLIN/POTSDAM
The Broadcast and Network Department is responsible for the planning, operation, and support of central infrastructure systems for radio, television, and IT.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
* Administration/System Support: You will be responsible for the administration, maintenance, and documentation of central IT network and security infrastructures, ensuring their stable operation and driving the continuous development of the systems.
* Fault Analysis and Troubleshooting: You will handle support requests, analyze technical issues, and implement targeted measures to resolve them. In doing so, you will work closely with other departments to identify root causes and prevent future outages.
* Technical Planning and Project Collaboration: You will actively participate in projects to implement new IT systems.
YOUR PROFILE
Network administrator with a college or university degree—e.g., in (media) computer science or a comparable technical field—and/or with many years of relevant professional experience in the IT networking sector, as well as
* in-depth knowledge of setting up and securing complex IT networks, particularly in the Cisco environment
* experience in the administration and operation of IT network infrastructures, including monitoring, maintenance, and optimization
* ideally, knowledge of broadcast-specific and Media over IP systems as well as their integration into IT environments
* proficiency in using ticketing systems such as OTRS and familiarity with established IT service management frameworks, e.g., ITIL
