For our new warehouse in Bodenheim we are looking for a Operations/Logistics Manager who is willing to join our team and coordinate and improve Samsung Distribution processes in Germany.
Aufgaben
Key activities of the Operations/Logistics Manager are:
* Supervise overall Bodenheim & Speyer Warehouse operation (>15 FTE): Inbound, stock controlling, outbound, return.
* Supervise Transport Control Tower including In- and Outbound Operation (±4 FTE)
* Train, lead and motivate Kleinostheim & Speyer operational team.
* Ensuring that logistic manpower is in line with need (planning, actual status check, inflow follow up).
* Analyse and improve overall logistic processes and operation productivity.
* Check daily, weekly service level (contract KPIs) and report weekly/monthly operation review.
* Being the main point of contact for customer, other Samsung SDS departments (Cost & Claim, Security, Factory transport team, HR, IT).
* Follow up logistics cost and focus on operational improvement possibilities.
* Implement new business requirements, as this is a new warehouse, the focus will at first be to stabilize operation.
Qualifikation
For this role we are looking for a candidate with proven experience in operations management. A self-starting manager with a strong result driven mindset. Our ideal candidate is able to work independently and as well create proper collaboration with team members in the operation as well as distant. He/she is a flexible problem-solver with a hands-on mentality.
We are looking for a colleague with:
* Significant working experience in operations management and preferably in leadership role
* Self-starting capabilities and strong stakeholder management skills
* A proficient level of English and German
* A Bachelor/Master degree in Logistics/SCM
* Very good MS Office skills (especially Excel)
