Equity Research: Provides institutional and retail clients with in-depth research and analysis on more than 20 industries and 3,000 companies in 50 countries around the world. Credit Research: Provides analysis of corporate and bank credit-worthiness, cash and derivative markets and makes detailed, actionable investment recommendations to all types of institutional (and retail) bond and credit derivative investors. Overview As an analyst within Global Research, you will: • Gain unique insight into a specific industry sector, economic region and/or tradable financial instruments and structures • Contribute to and eventually initiate on leading-edge, non-consensual, market-moving research products and reports on corporations, sectors and markets • Develop an understanding of the investment needs of a wide range of different clients in order to provide bespoke recommendations and solutions to help them meet their objectives • Market your investment recommendations to internal and external clients by phone and face to face • Engage in detailed bottom -up / micro financial analysis of sector / company coverage universe and overlay recent macro developments to come up with actionable trade recommendations Training Your journey with the bank begins with intensive training where you will have the opportunity to learn about our company, its culture and all the relevant tools, techniques and working practices pertinent to your role. You will cover a solid foundation of training related to your chosen business area while developing your professional skills and team-working capabilities throughout the training experience. Following the formal training program, you will be on boarded to the Global Banking and Markets Analyst & Associate Academy (GBAM AAA), which will take you on a journey through our global curriculum. On commencing work with your team, you'll take on additional responsibility at an early stage. With on-going development opportunities throughout the GBAM AAA journey, you'll be encouraged to grow your abilities through on-the-job learning, structured training and continued networking within the bank which will support you throughout your career.
