Jeppesen Germany GmbH is seeking a Payroll Analyst to join our growing team in Neu-Isenburg, Germany.
This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.
Position Responsibilities:
1. Own the end-to-end payroll process for German entity — from data collection to processing to reporting
2. Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to ensure accurate pay, taxes, and compliance with local regulations
3. Manage end-to-end payroll processing for German entity, ensuring timely and accurate execution
4. Maintain compliance with local labor laws, tax regulations, and company policies
5. Coordinate with external payroll vendors and monitor service delivery and performance
6. Support audits, reporting, and compliance activities by maintaining clean and organized payroll records
7. Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities to enhance efficiency and accuracy
8. Act as the primary point of contact for payroll-related inquiries from employees
9. Collaborate with HR and Finance on compensation changes, benefit updates, and other pay-impacting items
10. Stay informed on local payroll regulations and advise on potential impacts or required changes
11. Lead process improvement initiatives to streamline payroll processes, enhance efficiency, and reduce errors across the organization
12. Guide employees on timesheet and approval processes within our Workforce Management system
13. Ad-hoc reporting
14. Audit and review quarterly tax filings and complete reconciliations
15. Participate in audits and assist with resolving any discrepancies or issues identified
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
16. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
17. 5+ years of experience in payroll, including payroll administration for German entities
18. In-depth knowledge of payroll regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements in Germany
19. Proficiency in UKG payroll software and systems (e.g., ADP, Workday SAP)
20. Familiarity with time-tracking and HRIS systems integration
21. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
22. Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
23. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
24. Proven track record of process improvement and implementing best practices in payroll operations
25. Fluent in German and English languages
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
26. Knowledge of equity compensation, bonus structures, and international assignment
27. Familiarity with SOX compliance and internal control frameworks
28. Advanced Excel skills and experience working with payroll data for reporting and audits
29. Excellent teamwork and communication skills, self-motivated and able to work individually
30. Ability to handle diverse workload and work in deadline dedicated environment

This requisition is for a locally hired position in Germany. Candidates must have current legal authorisation to work immediately in Germany.
