Key Responsibilities
* Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with project HSE policies, procedures, and German regulatory requirements
* Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and safety walks to identify hazards and ensure corrective actions are implemented
* Support the development and review of risk assessments, method statements, and permit-to-work systems
* Provide daily HSE guidance to site teams, supervisors, and subcontractors
* Lead and participate in incident investigations, ensuring root causes are identified and corrective actions implemented
* Deliver toolbox talks and safety briefings to promote a proactive safety culture across the project
* Maintain accurate HSE documentation, reports, and records in line with project requirements
* Monitor compliance with PPE requirements and safe working practices
* Work closely with construction management to ensure HSE standards are integrated into daily site operations
* Assist with emergency response planning and drills
* Ensure environmental protection measures are followed during site activities
Requirements
* Proven experience working as an HSE Advisor on large-scale industrial or energy construction projects
* Strong understanding of European / German HSE regulations and standards
* Experience working on complex construction environments involving mechanical, electrical, and civil works
* Ability to conduct risk assessments and incident investigations
* Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence safe behaviours on site
Qualifications
* NEBOSH Certificate / Diploma or equivalent HSE qualification
* Relevant European safety certification (e.g., SIFA or equivalent) preferred
* First Aid certification advantageous
