RheinNetz GmbH is a regional grid operating company for the Rhineland region. RheinNetz operates, plans and builds distribution grids for electricity and natural gas. On behalf of energy suppliers, we transport electricity and natural gas to the industrial, commercial and household customers connected to the grids. Our company performs functions such as technical grid service, customer service, metering, revenue and cost management, regulation management and grid access, grid planning and asset management.
We are recruiting for the position of Information Security Manager Smart Metering/Smart Grid (m/f/d) in our Technical Network Service department at our Cologne site. This is a full-time, permanent role for specialists and managers.
Responsibilities
* You define the scope of application for the new Smart Metering / Smart Grid topic area, delimit it in a meaningful way and create the documentation of the ISMS application area and the area-specific process descriptions.
* You independently maintain and further develop the operational ISMS processes in network operations, especially in the area of smart metering / smart grid, by using the central ISMS framework and rules of RheinNetz GmbH.
* You support the management in defining information security goals and ensure regular reporting.
* You plan and carry out training measures for employees as required.
* You manage, coordinate, document and participate in the implementation of risk analyses.
* You assess, process and manage immediate measures to resolve information security incidents.
* You are involved in information security-related projects.
* You plan and carry out internal audits.
* You manage and monitor the implementation status of information security measures.
Qualifications
* You have a successfully completed Master’s degree/diploma in business informatics, computer science, electrical engineering or a comparable field with several years of professional experience (2 to 6 years).
* You have experience in the implementation of information security measures.
* Ideally, you have knowledge of relevant laws/regulations in the energy and water industry and the ISO 27001 family of standards.
* Ideally, you have knowledge of the system architecture/application software of network control systems, operating systems and databases.
* Ideally, you have knowledge in the field of smart metering.
* Ideally you have experience in project management.
Salary & Benefits
* Remuneration at pay group 12 in accordance with the collective agreement for utility companies (TV-V). For a full-time position, this corresponds to a gross annual salary of around 71,000 – 97,000 euros (depending on professional experience and qualifications).
