Specialist, Responsible Investment Manager, RI Markets (Germany & Austria) 2 Year FTC

The Responsible Investment Manager – Germany & Austria RI Markets will support the promotion and implementation of responsible investment practices across Germany and Austria. The role focuses on engaging with PRI signatories and stakeholders, helping them integrate sustainability considerations into their investment processes, and contributing to the local delivery of PRI’s global initiatives.
Key responsibilities include facilitating signatory engagement, supporting outreach and recruitment, contributing to policy-related efforts, and collaborating across PRI teams to ensure relevant tools and guidance are effectively shared with the local market.
Occasional domestic and international travel will be required for meetings, events, and internal collaboration. Support the recruitment of new strategic signatories, particularly among asset owners such as public, corporate and professional pension plans, other public funds, insurers, endowments/foundations as well as key investment managers and investment consultants.
Contribute to team effectiveness by actively participating in meetings and collaborating with colleagues across the Continental Europe and global RI Ecosystem teams.

Project support : Assist in the delivery of strategic and ad hoc projects focused on local market priorities and stakeholder needs.
Support the Head of Germany & Austria in delivering the team’s business plan by contributing local market knowledge, data, and trend analysis.
Experience or knowledge of the investment industry, including the structure of the investment chain and developments in sustainable finance and responsible investment, particularly in Germany and Austria.
Ability to identify and support growth opportunities through research and outreach.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and engage effectively with stakeholders in various settings.
Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce), and digital platforms (e.g. webinars, social media).
