What to Expect:
* Solution design processes in the SD/LE functional areas, and especially between other SAP instances, CRM, and other systems at Excelitas as well as with its business partners, to enable process automation and increase productivity
* Leadership and collaboration with internal IT resources and/or external partners in the implementation, enhancement, and support of our ERP ECC 6.0 systems and the S4 HANA system
* Individual or functional leadership in capturing/determining requirements for additional SAP SD/LE functionality and process changes. Providing fit-gap analyses and available solution options
* Using SAP to support best practices through extensive knowledge of integration technologies, in order to integrate systems within the company (EDI between other SAP instances, integration with Salesforce and other systems) as well as with external business partners and their vendor portals
* Creation and review of business and technical specification documents to ensure that test plans meet technical and business requirements
* Supporting system changes through configuration and enhancement, including providing functional specifications for ABAP program changes in the SD and LE areas (all RICEF and performance improvements)
* Participation in M&A projects involving the integration or divestiture of business units and in product transfers to other locations
* Managing production support for existing functionality in SD and related software features
* Continuous improvement management through trend report analyses and metric management
What You Bring:
* A completed degree and at least ten years of experience in SAP implementations (and enhancements), SD functional experience, and integration as a senior solution analyst/architect
* At least three years of experience leading teams and projects, capacity planning, and on-time delivery
* In-depth knowledge of the SAP SD/LE modules and integration with Taxware and other third-party systems
* Strong understanding of various SAP system landscapes (SAP ECC and S/4 HANA)
* Solid knowledge of business processes in all areas of Sales
* Strong knowledge and hands-on experience integrating other core ERP modules such as PP, FI/CO in addition to CRM/Salesforce, as well as experience in both SAP ECC ERP 6.0 and SAP S4 HANA environments
* Practical knowledge of project methodologies for managing large ERP projects with regard to agility and compliance (e.g., ASAP, SOLMAN/ALM)
* Knowledge of ABAP programming is an advantage
* Excellent written and spoken German and English skills
* Strong communication skills, a high level of customer orientation, and flexibility in working with international teams in Europe, Asia, and North America across various time zones (particularly for global projects)
* Willingness to travel at least 15% (domestic and international), with the possibility of higher travel requirements depending on the project
