Responsibilities
1. Support our project engineering teams in building, testing, and maintaining high-quality software integrations with the Frontline platform
2. Help maintain our internal tooling, scripts, and automation pipelines to support the team’s productivity
3. Assist with coding tasks, debugging, and implementing features under the guidance of experienced software engineers
4. Contribute to code reviews and documentation to ensure code quality and maintainability
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, Product Management, and Design
6. Create and improve technical documentation to reduce onboarding times and increase productivity of the team
7. Offer technical consultation to our partners and customers, ensuring seamless integration and optimal utilization of Frontline platform tools.
8. Take ownership of your own small projects or components and bring your ideas into real-life solutions
Requirements
9. Enrolled student in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
10. Solid programming knowledge in one or more languages such as Java, Kotlin, JavaScript/TypeScript
11. Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git), IDEs, and debugging tools
12. Familiarity with SQL based databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL
13. Familiarity with containerization with Docker
14. Basic understanding of software development principles and methodologies (Agile/Scrum)
15. Interest in building scalable applications, writing clean code, and solving real-world problems
16. Eagerness to learn, take initiative, and work in a collaborative team environment
17. Fluency in English is required; German language skills are a plus
18. Prior experience through personal projects, internships, or open-source contributions is a plus
19. Experience in dev-ops related topics like container orchestration or CI/CD is a plus

22. Our Working Students in Germany receive a monthly salary of €1,566 for a 20-hour/week contract, €1,253 for a 16-hour/week contract, and €1,400 for an internship position.
