About the client and role
Our client, an Automotive electronic supplier, is in search of a Launch Manager. The role demands a professional with comprehensive knowledge of automotive manufacturing, project management and effective cross-team coordination.
Responsibilities
* Product Launch Leadership: Oversee the full lifecycle of new automotive electronic product launches, from industrialization to execution, ensuring alignment across engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and other functions
* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with R&D, engineering, operations, and marketing teams to align strategies and deliverables for successful product introductions.
* Project Management: Create and manage detailed launch plans, including schedules, milestones, and risk mitigation strategies, to deliver projects on time.
* Supply Chain & Manufacturing Support: Work closely with supply chain teams to secure necessary materials and components while optimizing production processes for efficiency and quality.
* Customer Engagement: Maintain clear communication with customers on launch timelines, specifications, and expectations; address concerns and support post-launch troubleshooting.
* Quality Assurance: Ensure all launches meet or exceed company standards for performance, reliability, and customer satisfaction
* Sustainability & Compliance: Collaborate with program management to guarantee compliance with environmental and regulatory requirements while embedding sustainability into launch practices.
* Continuous Improvement: Drive enhancements to launch processes to boost efficiency, shorten lead times, and increase overall success rates
* Change Management: Manage product and process changes during the launch phase, balancing cost, quality, and timing objectives.
Skills and Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Automotive technology, business
* 5/7 + years of experience in Automotive product launches, project management, or a related role within the automotive industry.
* Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects.
* Highly organized and detailed orientated, with the ability to manage priorities effectively.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels. etc.
* Adaptable and resilient, thriving in fast-paced, dynamic environments while balancing multiple priorities.
* In-depth knowledge of automotive quality standards, sustainability initiatives, and regulatory compliance.
* Proficient in project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira) and advanced user of Microsoft Office Suite.
