The selection, contract management and monitoring of service level agreements (SLAs) are part of the area of responsibility. The collaboration with 3PL partners is analysed, optimisation potential is identified and appropriate measures are implemented. Effective interface management with related departments ensures seamless integration of logistics services. Service provider performance is analysed, key figures are prepared and decision bases are created for management. Cost and budget control in the area of external logistics is managed, combined with the development of measures to reduce costs and increase efficiency. Solutions in cases of escalation are managed and crisis management measures are coordinated. Market analyses and benchmarks are carried out to identify trends and evaluate new service providers. A degree in logistics, business administration, industrial engineering or a comparable field. At least 5 years of professional experience in managing logistics service providers (3PL) and a deep understanding of logistical processes. In-depth knowledge of contract design and SLA management. Experience in contract logistics and supply chain management. Knowledge of warehouse organisation, inventory management and working with WMS solutions. Confident handling of MS Office applications, especially Excel, and ideally some experience with ERP and WMS systems. Structured, solution-oriented approach, coupled with strong communication and negotiation skills. High level of teamwork, personal responsibility and assertiveness.
